Bilingual Insurance Licensed Sales Professional Training
PODER’s Bilingual Insurance Licensing (BIL) training prepares students to pass the Illinois Property & Casualty insurance license exam. Open to students 18 and older, the BIL program is a two-week training program during which students learn insurance compliance regulations and other essential skills from professional trainers and insurance experts.

Pre-Requisite: It is required to complete and pass PODER’s Customer Service training program.
Training Length: 2 weeks/ 3 Pre-Licensing Seminar Days, 3 Group Study Sessions, and 4 Individual Study Sessions
Location: Pulaski Site and currently virtually
Training Times: Pre-Licensing Seminar: Thursday 9:15am -6:00pm ; Friday 9:15am -7:00pm & Saturday: 9:15am -2:00pm
Language: Training and Exams in Spanish
Licensing Exams: Casualty and Property
Once the Pre-licensing seminar training is complete, there are three study sessions to help prepare for the Property and Casualty exams.
Acceptance to the program also comes with the following commitments on:
- 100% attendance to all trainings and study sessions
- Participation in the Hiring Event
- Acceptance of a job offer from one of our agency partners
- Submission of all required documentation celebrating employment milestones
