Customer Service Training

PODER’s Customer Service (CS) training serves as a prerequisite to participation in our two main job training options, Bilingual Insurance Licensing (BIL) and Latinos in Finance (LIF). In CS, students participate in a five-week course that develops universal customer service and communication skills vital to any service industry position. Home study and class time are utilized to maximize review of concepts and to provide more hands-on activities. This training is open for learners 18 years of age and older. Students who complete this course receive a certificate from PODER and a Customer Service Institute of America industry-recognized credential.

Training Days: 5 weeks/ Once a week
Location: Pulaski Site and currently virtually
Training Day: Fridays
Training Times: 11:30am -3:30pm
Language: Training in Spanish; English material available  
Topics:  Personal Mission, Goal Setting, Time Management, Customer Expectations, Communication Skills, Telephone Skills, and many more.

In a world of ever changing customer demands, it is imperative that professionals are equipped with the tools to maximize customer focus and enhance overall customer experience. Graduates receive the Certified Customer Experience Professional certificate from CSIA.
